The Tahoe Citizen's Committee is inviting all Douglas Country residents who live at Lake Tahoe to attend their next meeting on Wednesday, April 6 where many important topics will be discussed.
They will meet at the Visitor Center Building located at 169 Highway 50 in Stateline at 5:30 p.m.
On the agenda is followup discussion on the current Douglas County sewer issue, elections for Douglas County Commissioners as well as other potential issues for the Tahoe Township.
Even though just 9.18 percent of the county's residents live at the lake, and 1.54 percent of their roads are on the Nevada side of the south shore, the lake portion of Douglas County generates 37.64 percent of the County's property tax, 85.96 percent of the their room tax and 85.5 percent of the gaming tax.
Organizers would like to have many their neighbors at this Town Hall meeting.
