The City of South Lake Tahoe opened the Bijou Golf Course for the season Monday, marking the earliest opening day in its history.
“We’ve never had the opportunity to open this early due to seasonal weather, so we are very excited to have these Spring conditions early in the year so that the golfers can start early,” said Parks Supervisor Greg Ross.
The golf course will remain open subject to weather closures for the rest of the season. Current residential rates are $15 for 9 holes and $12 for 9 holes at twilight.
Bijou Golf Course is located at 3464 Fairway Ave. Additional information is available by calling (530) 542-6097 or visit www.cityofslt.us/golf.
