The Lake Tahoe Historical Society is holding their monthly Fireside Chat at the historic Camp Richardson on Tuesday, May 8,2018 at 7:00 p.m.
Dr. Bob LaPerriere, retired medical doctor and historian, is sharing stories of the woes of immigrants traveling to California for the Gold Rush.
Find out the adventures, and medicines, of those travelers as they faced epidemics, diseases and long hard days on the trails.
The historic Camp Richardson Hotel is a great place for the historic chats by the fireplace.
Free for society members, $3 for the public.
