Two day celebration of art, food and wine in South Lake Tahoe

The Beach Retreat and Lodge will be the spot this weekend for the inaugural "Taste of Tahoe." The two-day event, May 20-21, will include an art show, wine tasting and food pairing.

On Friday, May 20, the event is kicked off with the Art Show and Wine Tasting event in the hotel's new conference center and it will wrap up with a Pairings Dinner on Saturday created by their chef, Garrett Florea, and Crystal Basin Winery.

Enjoy sculptures, live art, canvas creations, and electronic art. Featured artists include, Claudia Garza, Ellen Nunes, Bonita Paulis, Ginny Schankerman, Amy Hackleman, Kelley Hackleman, Matthew "Timeless" Welter, Bruce Lee, Hib Engler and Robert Schimmel.

Crystal Basin Winery will provide wine for the Friday night tasting and pairings dinner. Wine will be available for purchase by the bottle throughout the evening.

Friday, May 20: Tickets $15 per person

6pm-9pm BRL Conference Center open for Art Show & Wine Tasting

6:30pm: Welcome toast and introduction of Artists

7pm & 8pm: Property Art Walk with Timeless

*10% of art sales will be donated to the LTCC Foundation

Saturday, May 21: Tickets $50 per person. Limited Availability

6:30pm-9pm: Pairings dinner created by Chef Garrett Florea and Crystal Basin Winery
