Lake Tahoe Community College is holding a visioning session on Saturday, June 8 from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the LTCC Board Room next to the Library. The community is invited to contribute to a conversation about the future of the College as we move toward 2020.
Changes in state regulations are forcing LTCC to change what we do and who we serve. These changes have created challenges that must be overcome if LTCC is to continue serving the communities of Lake Tahoe.
The College is at a critical juncture and needs committed individuals to help establish a vision for the future of LTCC in this community. If you believe LTCC is an essential part of the community, please consider joining your friends and colleagues for this most important session.
Please RSVP to Julie Booth at booth@ltcc.edu or call 530.541.4660 x210. āIām excited to see what this vibrant community will set as a destination for its future. With a focused vision great things can be accomplished!ā said Peter Bostic, Director of College Advancement and Community Engagement for LTCC.
If you have questions about participating, please contact Aaron McVean, Director of Institutional Research and Planning, at mcvean@ltcc.edu. Continental breakfast and coffee will be provided starting at 8 a.m, with the session beginning promptly at 8:30 a.m.
The College will also host a barbecue following the session from 1:00pm-3:00pm in the LTCC Demonstration Garden for those who attend.
