Event Date:
June 1, 2019 - 12:00pm
The third annual Lake Tahoe Boys and Girls Club Tahoe Brewfest will be held this Saturday, June 1 in the Heavenly Cal Lodge parking lot.
VIP tickets are sold out online (a few will be sold on Saturday) and they allow guests into the event at noon. The doors will open for everyone else at 1:00 p.m. and the event ends at 4:00 p.m.
The Brewfest is a celebration of all things craft beer and Tahoe with 40 different breweries, cider and kombucha crafters, root beer, craft sodas and wine (for a full list, click here). Live music will be provided by Ike and Martin and Dirty Cello, who are taking the festival scene by storm. Local food vendors and artisans, along with perfect weather will round out the day.
“The Brewfest is becoming a major tourist attraction for Tahoe, with guests coming from all over the U.s. and even internationally," said event organizer Nicole Marsel. "Plenty of locals also turn out to sample new breweries like Sudwerk, Pitsnogled Cider, and Del Cielo and old favorites from Sidelis, South Tahoe Brewing, and Coldwater Brewery. We’ve also added wine this year due to popular demand and have more non-alcoholic and gluten-free options available.”
"The Brewfest would not exist without one very special lady and one great community supporter. Deb Brown of Cold Water Brewery is the heart and soul of the event, it was her idea to bring a Brewfest to Tahoe and she continues to be a major sponsor and influencer as it grows each year," added Marsel.
“Vail Epic Promise is incredible,” said Jude Wood, executive director of the Boys and Girls Club of Lake Tahoe. “We are so grateful for the support they give the Club and the community, and we couldn’t grow this event each year without our incredible and beautiful location.”
Tickets are $35 each and can be purchased at www.tahoebrewfest.com. Kids under 5 are free and under-21 are $10. If available at the door, VIP tickets are $50. Purchase HERE.
Over 21 but not drinking? You are still going to have an amazing time. Unlimited samples of craft sodas, kombucha, live music, silent disco, amazing food and local merchandise will be at the event.
