Warm days ahead for South Lake Tahoe

Hot weather continues into next week as high pressure keeps us in a dry air mass with high temperatures remaining above season averages according to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Reno. High temperatures will remain 5-10 degrees above average through the weekend with peak heating expected early next week.

Relative humidity readings in the single digits can be found in many valley locations across western Nevada. A good day to see your laundry dry in record time
outside. Overall, expect a continued dry pattern for the weekend with no precipitation expected and poor humidity recoveries remaining across mid-slopes and higher elevations. Winds for the remainder of the afternoon will be of the typical zephyr breeze variety with gusts 20-25 mph.
