Breast Cancer fundraiser: May the Odds Be Ever in Your Favor

Grab your lawn chairs and head out to "May the Odds Be Ever in Your Favor," a fundraising event for Tahoe women fighting breast cancer on Monday, June 27 at 121 Holly Lane in Lake Village from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.*

A $10 minimum donation is requested. All proceeds will go to benefit METAvivor Research and Support, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing support for women and men with metastatic breast cancer (MBC) and funding research to transition MBC from a terminal illness to a controlled, chronic condition. 100% of donations made to this organization go to research and support, much different than other major breast cancer charities.

Local musicians, Ike and Martin, will be playing. Bring your own beverage and lawn chair. There will be finger foods and dessert provided by the organizers.

*Lake Village is one mile east of the casinos on Hwy 50, across from Rabe Meadow. Parking is limited. Park only where you see the multicolored ribbon or at the old Kingsbury Middle School. Shuttle service from KMS will be provided from 5:15 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. and 8:45 p.m. to 9:15 p.m.
