Wa She Shu It’ Deh Native American Arts Festival at Valhalla

The Washoe will re-unite at the Tallac Historic Site in South Lake Tahoe this weekend to honor their culture and heritage during their annual Wa She Shu It’ Deh Native American Arts Festival.
The festival features native arts and crafts, food vendors, basket-making, raffles, Native American dance and drum performances. It is held at Valhalla Grand Hall and lawn on Saturday, July 25 and Sunday, July 26 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sponsored by the Washoe Tribe of Nevada and California.
The public is welcome and the festival is free to attend. The historic Tahoe Tallac Site is located two miles past the intersection of highways 50 and 89. Head toward the lake and just past Camp Richardson on the lake side of Highway 89, turn right on the road with the sign Valhalla.
