Stand Up paddle races and concert at Tahoe Paradise Park Sunday

On Course Events presents Music in the Park and Tahoe Games Standup Paddle Races at Tahoe Paradise Park on August 23 and September 13.

“Bringing events to this gem of a venue has been a dream for On Course Events for many years,” states Leslie Schultz of On Course Events. “We’re excited to bring people together with great music and recreation in such a beautiful location!”

The new community event series begins at Tahoe Paradise Park with the Tahoe Games Standup Paddleboard Races from 2:00 p.m to 4:00 p.m. The race will be on a custom course built across Lake Baron.

Free live music will follow the paddleboard races with Kanekoa and Taking
Root performing from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Kanekoa, will headline the first concert as they make their South Lake Tahoe debut with their ukulele powered Hawaiian reggae fold rock.

In addition to live music and recreation, the events will highlight local vendors, live artists, free bike valet and a beer/wine garden. Proceeds from the beer/wine garden will benefit Sierra-at Tahoe Education Foundation.
