Live at Lakeview returns for 7th season in South Lake Tahoe

Sierra-at-Tahoe, the City of South Lake Tahoe and On Course Events have teamed up to present the 7th Annual Live at Lakeview Summer Music Series, which returns to Lakeview Commons on the first day of summer, Thursday, June 21.

The series will begin with a showcase of local talent that includes South Lake Tahoe favorites, Mescalito as well as Helena Kletch and JT Chevallier. Mescalito is an up-and-coming rock/soul/jam band that opened up the series in 2017 and will be stepping up to make their headlining debut on the Live at Lakeview stage for summer’s official Opening Day. Helena Kletch and JT will open up the show with music starting at 4:30 pm.

Live at Lakeview is a free weekly concert series hosted from 4:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. at Lakeview Commons, in the heart of South Lake Tahoe. Every Thursday (June 21-August 30) the event hosts live music and art on the beach, along with a variety of local merchants and delicious food options plus amphitheater style seating and breathtaking views of Lake Tahoe from the beer garden. Proceeds from the beer garden will continue to support South Tahoe BMX Association.

Parking is limited around the venue; however, a complimentary bike valet service is offered every week, in loving memory of Rocky Heether. Biking (with proper lighting) and carpooling is strongly encouraged. Additional parking is available at the South Lake Tahoe Recreation Center (1601 Rufus Allen Blvd.)
