South Shore casinos dealt losing hand to start off new fiscal year

Casinos on the South Shore of Lake Tahoe had a gaming win of $25,079,065 in July, which is down 22.5% from the same month a year ago according to the Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB).
In figures released today, the NGCB shows the whole state of Nevada almost equal to last July's reported gaming win with $931,819,621 taken in during the month, up .65% from July of 2103.
The gaming win represents the computed income of casinos before business expenses and taxes.
The South Shore casinos led the state in losses while casinos in Mesquite and North Lake Tahoe had the biggest gains at 6.78% and 5.38% respectively.
In the past two months, the State of Nevada has collected $97,268,672 in percentage fees.
