September is National Library Card Sign-Up Month. During this month, the South Lake Tahoe Branch Library invites you to demonstrate your love of reading, by visiting us and either showing us an existing library card, or signing up for a new one. All participants will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win great prizes!
Elementary school students who visit the library to use their cards or sign up for a new card during the month of September will receive a prize for participating and be enrolled into a drawing to be held on Oct. 1. The lucky winner will earn their whole class a Jamba Juice Party with the Banana Man and a $50 gift certificate for their teacher to use on supplies for your class room! The more students sign up, the better the chances that class has to win!
Teens who sign up for a new card, or use their existing cards will be entered into a drawing for two $25 iTune gift cards. Adults who use their library cards will be entered into a drawing for two $25 gift cards to Starbucks.
For additional information, please call the Library at (530) 573-3185.
