Lake Tahoe Community College invites community members, college employees, and students to attend a 2020 Vision session on Friday, September 20 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the college's Board/Aspen Room.
Now in their 39th year, LTCC is taking steps in determining what direction they should head in the future when taking declining enrollment, budget concerns, and other issues into consideration.
“The 2020 Vision session is the first step in determining what the Tahoe community and college wants to see happen, and how to achieve that vision going forward,” says LTCC Institutional Researcher Aaron McVean. “Once we decide what we want to achieve, with input from the community, then we can focus on getting the resources needed to bring it to life.”
A continental breakfast with coffee, juice, fruit and pastries will be served from 9:30 a.m. until 10 a.m. A lunch will also be provided to all participants at 12:30 p.m. If you’d like to join your fellow employees and community members in this important session, please RSVP to Julie Booth at (530) 541-4660 ext. 210, or email her at Booth@ltcc.edu. The stakes for this session are very high, and the outcome couldn’t be more important. Please join us in helping to forge LTCC’s future, making it as bright as the last 40 years have been for the College and the community.
