If you haven't already bought you tickets for the 10th annual Sample the Sierra you are too late.
Once again the popular farm-to-fork festival in South Lake Tahoe is sold out.
The festival opens at 12 p.m. at Bijou Community Park with tastings until 4 p.m. Live music begins at noon with local band Rebel Tahoe Heart on the Main Stage until 2 p.m. The 8th annual Sierra Chef Challenge takes place on the Sierra Stage from 2-3:30 p.m., featuring Michael Sheldon, an amateur chef whose culinary passions led him to try out for Gordon Ramsay’s cooking show “Masterchef,” Michael Lynard of Cold Water Brewery & Grill, Andrew Anderson of Gunbarrel Tavern and Eatery, Lonny Huot of Edgewood Tahoe, and Dean Hiatt of Poor Red’s Marketplace.
