Accident on State Route 28 near Spooner Lake shuts down both lanes

A single vehicle rollover accident this afternoon has shut down both lanes of State Route 28, one mile past Spooner Lake and the junction of Highway 50. Tahoe Douglas EMTs and the Nevada Highway Patrol report the accident involved a single car that hit a boulder and spun out, winding up on its roof. The single occupant was reportedly out of the vehicle and appears to be OK. The car is blocking both lanes. The accident was reported at 3:42 p.m.
