Submitted by paula on Sun, 10/20/2013 - 9:19am
The South Lake Tahoe Friends of the Library are currently accepting donations of books and audio/visual materials for their upcoming book sale. They would greatly appreciate materials only in good condition and with a copyright date no earlier than 2000. Especially needed are recent children’s books and children’s DVDs, as well as recent materials in Spanish. The group would also like to limit audio/visual donations to DVDs & books on Tape/CD.
All donations are tax deductible, with receipts available from the library's front desk. All proceeds from the book sale go to Friends of the Library, and help to support various library programs and events for children and adults.
The South Lake Tahoe Branch Library is open Tuesday and Wednesday from 10am to 8pm, and Thursday thru Saturday 10am to 5pm. For more information on library services, please call 530-573-3185 during regular business hours.
