Learn how food can stave off cancer at South Lake Tahoe discussion

According to the National Cancer Institute and the President's Panel on Cancer, at least one third of the American people will receive some kind of cancer diagnosis in their lifetime.
Join the South Lake Tahoe Cancer League on Thursday, October 26 when when Jessica Perasso, Barton Nutrition Specialist, discusses how diet can affect your chances of staving off cancer.
The meeting will be held at the Cantina on Emerald Bay Road, South Lake Tahoe. Doors open at 11:30 a.m., speaker begins at noon. Cost for lunch is $13 per person or attend for $5 without lunch. This is open to the public.
