Monthly gaming figures released: South Shore casinos up over $2M

Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB) released their October figures today and they show revenue for casinos on the South Shore of Lake Tahoe were up $2,293,554 over the same month in 2016. That is a 16.19 percent gain.
They showed a gaming "win" of $16,462,763.
The "win" represents the computed income of casinos before business expenses and taxes.
The state as a whole was almost equal to last year, up .27 percent, bringing in $988,744,450. The biggest gain in the "win" was experienced by the casinos on the Boulder Strip who were up 17.10 percent. North Shore casinos registered 1,883,550 in revenue, down 3.55 percent.
Carson City and the balance of Douglas County were about even as well with a .13 percent gain and their "win" of $8,834,865.
