Become a Master Gardener in Lake Tahoe

Are you passionate about gardening in Lake Tahoe and would you like to share your knowledge? Like to get your hands dirty> Become a Master Gardener through the University of California Cooperative Education training series in South Lake Tahoe.
The 50 hours of education are offered to a select few so it's time to get your application in. Over 12 weeks of classes at Lake Tahoe Community College, gardeners will be trained on growing and teaching so you can share your knowledge through outreach programs like Farmer's Markets, teaching at community and school gardens and by propagating plants and selling them annual Tahoe sale.
Cost is $185 and covers books and resources. The 12 weeks of classes will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Fridays, March 13, 20, 27, April 17, 24 and May 1, 8, 15, 29 and on Saturdays March 21, 28 and May 2.
