South Lake Tahoe accepting applications for City Council appointment

At Thursday's special meeting of the South Lake Tahoe City Council, leaders unanimously agreed to accept applications for an appointment to the council to fill an unexpired term ending in December 2014.
Applications are available at the City’s Administrative Offices, 1901 Airport Road and online at:
www.cityofslt.us/citycouncilapplication.
Applications are to be submitted and received by the City Clerk located at 1901 Airport Road, South Lake Tahoe, Calif., 96150 no later than Jan. 25 at 5pm.
Interviews will be held and the appointment will be made at the Feb. 5 City Council meeting beginning at 9am. Applicants must be a registered voter of the City and permanently reside within the City limits.
