One day to SnowGlobe in South Lake Tahoe

Last touches are being finished at the temporary concert venue on the South Lake Tahoe community field to prepare for estimated 15,000 people who will be attending SnowGlobe 2016. From December 29-31, 2016, electronic music fans will fill the town, and organizers have put some new transportation plans in place to accommodate the crowd attending the almost sold out concert.

The SnowGlobe shuttle service will run directly from the South Lake Tahoe Transit Center at Stateline and the Transit Center at the Y to the festival site on a continuous loop. Shuttle hours are as follows:

•December 29th: 1:30 PM - 12:30 AM

•December 30th: 1:30 PM - 12:30 AM
•December 31st: 1:30 PM - 2:00 AM

There is now a different pick up and drop off procedure and location. It is now located across from the venue at the South Tahoe Middle School (STMS) at 2940 Lake Tahoe Blvd. This is also a spot for attendee paid off-site parking. Lyft and Uber drivers and passengers will also use this area.

There is no parking, paid or otherwise, at the festival venue. Click here for a guide to off-site parking options around the South Shore.

This year, SnowGlobe has partnered with Board Our Bus (B.O.B) to travel from multiple locations in the Bay Area and Southern California to the festival on a chartered bus. For more information and locations, please click here.

The City of South Lake Tahoe and their partners have issued parking passes to those living in nearby neighborhoods, and parking in those areas will be only available to those with passes. No Parking signs are up in new locations, so those attending may not be able to park where they have in the past. Meadow Crest Drive and Black Bart Avenue near the back entrance to the college are now blocked off for parking. Click here to view the City's information page.
