South Lake Tahoe Community Members Participate in Round Table Discussions

Over 100 members of the South Lake Tahoe community attended the 3rd Annual Tahoe Chamber Community breakfast on Tuesday where they shared their visions of what was needed for success.
Those attending broke up into group discussions on a few topics including what they felt small businesses in the area need in order to be better prepared. Since the event was put on the by chamber, there was also discussion was about what the TahoeChamber.org could provide to improve their member's experiences.
There are a few upcoming Chamber events to highlight:
The 2014 Business Expo which will be held at Harrah's on March 28 from 4:30 pm to 8:30 pm.
Chamber Trek 2014 will take a group of members to Park City, Utah to experience a similar ski town, what works and what doesn't work. This will be April 2 to 6 and will cover the areas of transportation, walkable main streets, mixed use redevelopment, performing arts and affordable housing.
