Event Date:
February 28, 2017 - 6:30pm
Local yoga instructor Susan Glasson is donating her services for two different yoga practices on the south shore in honor of fun and whimsical Dr. Suess's birthday.
On Tuesday, February 28, all funds received during a 6:30 p.m. yoga class at Kahle Community Center will go to the Tahoe Warm Room, the seasonal homeless shelter in South Lake Tahoe.
"Celebrate the wisdom and silliness of Dr. Seuss in this Yoga class that is for all ages," said Glasson. "Bring the kids and grandma too, all you need is your willingness to have some fun!" Beginners are welcome.
The fundraiser will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Kahle Community Center located at 236 Kingsbury Grade in Stateline, Nev. Entry fee is a donation to Tahoe Coalition for the Homeless Warm Room.
On Wednesday, March 1, Glass will be holding a donation based class at Still Water Yoga for Bread & Broth 4 Kids. For more info, click here.
