The donation of some of the City of South Lake Tahoe's parking meters will be decided at Tuesday's City Council meeting.
Two area non-profits, the SLT Police Canine Association and the Bijou Bike Park Association, would like to have some of them in order to solicit voluntary donations.
The canine group wants two of them, one to place in front of the Regan Beach Dog Water Park and the Bijou Dog Park. The bikers will place theirs at the new Bijou ike Park BMX track. Each group will be responsible for their maintenance and operation.
Each group would return their kiosk(s) if no longer needed.
The City has already paid for each kiosk which have a value of $5,000 each.
