Event Date:

Biking and walking positively contribute to Lake Tahoe's economy, but by how much? This subject will be discussed during May's Tahoe Talks Brown Bag speaker series on May 20, 2015. This will feature a panel discussion on what is currently known about how biking and walking impact Tahoe's economy, and how we can find out more.
The panel will be moderated by Ben Fish, President of the Tahoe Area Mountain Biking Association (TAMBA). Panelists include: Carol Chaplin of Lake Tahoe Visitors Authority, Curtis Fong with Bike the West, Gary Bell of Sierra Ski and Cycle Works, and Jason Collin, Board Chair if the Lake Tahoe South Shore Chamber of Commerce.
Tahoe Talks will take place in the Aspen Room at Lake Tahoe Community College located at One College Drive in South Lake Tahoe from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
After the panel discussion there will be time for audience questions. Bring a bag lunch or enjoy snacks provided.
