2nd Annual LTCC Community Games

Let the games begin again! Lake Tahoe Community College’s student-led business club, the Future Business Leaders of Tahoe, is hosting the 2nd Annual LTCC Community Games on Saturday, May 30 from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. in LTCC’s Fitness Education Center on campus. This event-filled day will include a table tennis competition, kickball tournaments, dodgeball tournaments, a silent auction, raffle, food and drink, and live music.

The purpose of the LTCC Community Games is to raise money for student scholarships, and to build a stronger bond between the college and the South Shore community. Members of our community who perhaps have never visited LTCC’s campus are encouraged to attend the Community Games and discover what LTCC has to offer.
The Community Games begins with a double-elimination, individual player table tennis tournament from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. that anyone can participate in. There is a $5 entry fee to play. Registration begins at 9 a.m. in front of the LTCC Fitness Education Center. Get your friends and family together and join the fun from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. for the kickball tournament. There is a $25 entry fee for each 6-player team. For the strong of heart, there will also be a single elimination dodgeball tournament from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. There is a $25 entry fee for each 6-player team. All fees and registrations to participate should be turned in as soon as possible to guarantee a spot. Cash and checks are gratefully accepted, and registration forms are available in LTCC’s Instruction Office in the Main Building.

This is a family friendly event, with a paper airplane contest for kids. Awards will be handed out following each event. All of the proceeds generated from the LTCC Community Games will support student scholarships at LTCC.
