Jill Bedwell Memorial Day Golf Fundraiser and Local's Day at Edgewood Tahoe

On Wednesday, May 24, Edgewood Tahoe is offering a "Locals Day" golf special. They have opened for the 2017 season and are offering those living in the surrounding Lake Tahoe or Northern Nevada area (South Lake Tahoe, North Lake Tahoe, Reno/Sparks, Carson City, Carson Valley) a discounted rate.

For $80, locals can tee off after 11:00 a.m. A government issued ID showing local residence will be required for all players to secure the special rate, and golfers are asked to abide by their strict policy of no outside food or beverage. Jill Bedwell Memorial Day Golf Fundraiser

On Memorial Day, May 29, Edgewood Tahoe is hosting a tournament to help locals Jill Cartoscelli-Bedwell and Kaja Bedwell with their fights against Multiple Sclerosis.

In 2004, Jill was diagnosed with MS, and her daughter Kaja was similarly diagnosed shortly thereafter. While having to live with this disease Jill has tried valiantly to keep working, but lack of stamina and balance has lead her to be unable to do so.

Everyone is invited to play and all proceeds will go to help Jill who has been an Edgewood employee since 1984. The round of golf will be only $95 a player.

"We look forward to seeing you all come out to help a family in the time of need," said Edgewood.
