It's that time of year again when you can take a vehicle full of trash to the dump for only $5. Clean Tahoe's Annual Clean Up Day is on Saturday, June 6 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Car and truck loads are just $5 for California residents; $10 for truck with trailer and Nevada residents.
There will also be free electronic waste collected by Electronic Waste Management at both the South Tahoe Refuse Center and at the South Tahoe Middle School (STMS will be a electronic waste collection spot on Sunday too). Computers, monitors, televisions and all other electronics will be collected. Sorry, this service is only available for California residents.
Iron Mountain will also be on hand at the refuse center to do your shredding. They are taking three boxes per resident.
No dirt, concrete, asphalt, roofing or construction materials will be accepted.
For more information, contact Clean Tahoe at 530-544-4210.
