Tahoe in Bloom Garden Tour

Event Date:
July 25, 2015 - 9:00am

The annual garden tour in South Lake Tahoe, once an annual event for the Lake Tahoe Historical Society, is now being hosted by the UCCE Master Gardeners of Lake Tahoe.

On July 25, "Tahoe in Bloom Garden Tour" will feature gardens throughout South Lake Tahoe from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Only 200 tickets will be sold and they expect to be sold out within a few days. The tickets are $20 each and were available at Saturday's plant sale at Lake Tahoe Community College. For those that missed it, tickets can be purchased at Nel's Garden Center, Aspen Hollow Garden Center, Tahoe Outdoor Living and Sunbasin.

The University of California Cooperative Extension (UCCE) Master Gardeners are a group of volunteers trained on science based horticulture who teach others on

sustainable gardening practices.

The Master Gardeners will be at the Tuesday Farmer's Markets in South Lake Tahoe beginning June 17. The volunteers will be there to answer your planting questions.
