Event Date:
July 11, 2020 - 10:00am
This Saturday, July 11, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., join Make Tahoe Records at Scott Forrest Fine Art Studio to help Tahoe's very own Tahoe Arts Alliance. Make Tahoe Records will be featuring an exhibit of "Freshly Groomed Vinyl", a curated collection of freshies on vinyl including new releases from independent and alternative artists. Meet Scott Forrest, Tahoe Arts Alliance board member, find out more about the Tahoe Arts Alliance, and learn how to become a member.
A portion of the proceeds from vinyl sales will go to benefit the Tahoe Arts Alliance. If you prefer contactless shopping, go to MakeTahoeRecords.com and request shipping, local delivery, or curbside pick up.
The Tahoe Arts Alliance is Tahoe's freshest arts organization - connecting, advocating and promoting the South Shore arts community since 2016. TAA has already established a solid presence through an ongoing partnership with the City of South Lake Tahoe, bringing local and emerging artists into the spotlight through exhibits at the City Art Gallery. TAA built a platform for awards through its Tahoe Arts Alliance Arts Awards ceremony, creating awareness of the ever-expanding and diverse artistic culture of the South Shore. TAA has hosted the ArtFest and is developing an artist registry to engage and connect the community. TAA continues to create dialog with the City of South Lake Tahoe to ensure that the voice of the arts community is heard. More information can be found at TahoeArtsAlliance.org.
Make Tahoe Records is the online and pop-up vinyl shop of MakeTahoe.com.
Scott Forrest Fine Art Studio is a space that supports local non-profits and community organizations by presenting exhibits that bring awareness to causes that benefit the community at large. Past exhibits and fundraisers have included Black Ice Theatre Co., Tahoe Art League, KRLT FM, and "Love is a National Treasure", a fundraiser for the Lake Tahoe Pride Equality Scholarship offered at Lake Tahoe Community College.
