Reno is experiencing an explosive growth with the addition of such major companies as Tesla and Microsoft. What does this mean for Lake Tahoe?
Join the Tahoe Chamber and Tahoe Prosperity Center on August 7 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Lake Tahoe Resort Hotel to discuss the implications of Reno's this growth on the Tahoe region and how Tahoe can prepare for what's coming next for the local economy.
This luncheon will feature special guest speaker Mike Kazmierski, the CEO of Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada (EDAWN). Kazmierski leads a team of twelve economic development professionals to recruit, expand/retain and grow through entrepreneurial support, primary businesses that create quality jobs in the Reno-Sparks region. In the past three years, this team has assisted in the attraction of more than 60 new companies, the local expansion of another 25 companies, resulting in the addition of more than 6,000 new jobs in the region.
