South Lake Tahoe in the 80s while Reno and Sacramento hit 100 next week

A far reaching high pressure system is over the west coast, with temperatures reaching into the 100s up and down the middle of California and into Nevada.
The record temperatures for South Lake Tahoe are around 90, with the average being 80. Here is the forecast for the week from the National Weather Service.
Sunday - Sunny, with a high near 82. Southeast wind 5 to 10 mph becoming southwest in the afternoon.
Sunday Night - Clear, with a low around 46. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph.
Monday - Sunny, with a high near 82. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph.
Monday Night - Clear, with a low around 48. West wind 5 to 10 mph.
Tuesday - Sunny, with a high near 83.
Tuesday Night - Mostly clear, with a low around 47.
Wednesday - Sunny, with a high near 84.
Wednesday Night - Mostly clear, with a low around 47.
Thursday - Sunny, with a high near 85.
Thursday Night - Mostly clear, with a low around 48.
Friday- Sunny, with a high near 85.
Friday Night - Mostly clear, with a low around 49.
Saturday - Sunny, with a high near 83.
