Lake Tahoe forecast: Dry end to February, what does March look like?

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - Lighter winds return Monday and persist through much of the week as high pressure settles into northeast California and western Nevada. Dry conditions continue this week with high temperatures remaining above average. Low pressure may impact the region next weekend with gusty winds along with rain and snow showers.
Any rain or snowfall amounts will not be heavy but could cause travel impacts and will be welcome after a dry February, according to the National Weather Service (NWS) Reno.
Looking into March, ensembles are showing more of a trough developing along the West Coast. However, tools do not show anything significant, said NWS REno. While it is looking wetter, it is relative and precip amounts would only nudge to near normal at best if the pattern change were to occur.

Monday - Sunny, with a high near 51. Calm wind.
Monday Night - Clear, with a low around 18. Calm wind.
Tuesday - Sunny, with a high near 53. Calm wind.
Tuesday Night - Mostly clear, with a low around 24. Calm wind.
Wednesday - Sunny, with a high near 58. Calm wind.
Wednesday Night - Clear, with a low around 25.
Thursday - Sunny, with a high near 57.
Thursday Night - Mostly clear, with a low around 24.
Friday - Mostly sunny, with a high near 59.
Friday Night - Mostly cloudy, with a low around 29.
Saturday - Mostly cloudy, with a high near 53.
Saturday Night - A slight chance of snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around
24.
Sunday - A chance of snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 44.
