Mystery, intrigue and entertainment South Lake Tahoe style. That's what you can expect when you join the Friends of the Library for an evening of food, wine and mystery at the South Lake Tahoe Library when they present "A Toast to Die For: An Evening of Mystery."
On Sunday, August 23 from 4 p.m. - 7 p.m. you can enjoy choices of hearty appetizers, beverages, a silent auction and music, all surrounded with an aura of mystery pervading the scene, both inside and out.
There will be readings and book sales. Mingle with Reno author, Mark S. Bacon, whose writing career has included newspaper reporter and copywriter. His newest book is a rollicking mystery entitled Death in Nostalgia City. Local mystery authors Sue Owens Wright, Kathi Daley and Cindy Sample, a trio of entertaining writers, will also be there.

In addition, there will be special library mysteries to solve. And the best part? All proceeds benefit the South Lake Tahoe Friends of the Library to enrich their programs and resources.
