Hear from the candidates during Chamber Forum at LTCC

Be an informed voter this November! An educational forum featuring all the candidates on the ballot running unopposed will be held at Lake Tahoe Community College on Thursday, October 9.

The South Tahoe Chamber of Commerce, KTHO Radio and Lake Tahoe Community College are jointly sponsoring the Candidate's Forum in the Aspen Room, which is in the college's library building, from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

The evening promises to be lively, informative, and fun. The format will start at 5:15 with each candidate introducing themselves with a stump speech to let the audience know why they're the best person for the office they're running for. Following that, the forum will take a dramatic change with the candidates joining the audience at preassigned tables for a more personal opportunity to answer questions and interact with the public.

The Chamber and the College want our local voters to have a final opportunity to get to know the candidates so they can make better decisions at the polls on November 4.

There is no charge to attend. Please be there to get to know the candidates on a more personal basis and to cheer on your favorites. RSVP is appreciated but not necessary.
