The westbound lanes of Highway 50 near Cave Rock were closed for awhile Tuesday morning after a two vehicle collision.
According to Dan Gordon of the Nevada Highway Patrol (NHP), a shuttle bus pulled out from Cave Rock Avenue into the path of a vehicle. Two people were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, Gordon said.
As emergency personnel tended to the victims and cleaned up the scene, both lanes of traffic were diverted to the eastbound lanes. All lanes were reopened by around 11:00 a.m.
