Public Safety Candidates Forum to be held in South Lake Tahoe

The South Lake Tahoe Police Officers Association, the California Nurses Association and South Lake Tahoe Firefighters Association will be hosting a Public Safety Forum with the candidates for South Lake Tahoe City Council on Thursday, October 25, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
This event will be hosted in the Aspen/Board Room of Lake Tahoe Community College and will utilize a standard candidate forum format. All candidates will be provided time for opening and closing statements, each two minutes in length.
Moderators will present questions and all candidates will receive equal, but limited, time to respond. All questions presented will relate to public safety issues.
Members of the community are invited to the forum and are being encouraged to submit questions prior to the event. These questions will be incorporated as time allows. Send all proposed questions to: iafflocal4427@gmail.com no later than Saturday, October 20.
