Bona Fide Books asks community to participate in survey

Several South Shore Lake Tahoe businesses, including the Bona Fide Books publishing house, are in the process of evaluating whether to open a temporary "pop-up" bookstore in South Lake Tahoe for the coming holiday shopping season. To help evaluate the feasibility and nature of a pop-up bookstore in the community, and whether there is support for having a permanent bookstore in town, Bona Fide Books has helped develop a quick and simple online survey.
The efforts are being spearheaded by Lake Tahoe Books and Art — Windows on the Sierra and Beyond (an exploratory book-selling retail venture), Crystal Range Associates — Outdoor Books and Maps (a book wholesaler based here in Lake Tahoe), and Bona Fide Books (a publisher based in Meyers). In addition, a “pop-up” bookstore is being evaluated for possible development as part of the “Partners in Recreation Program” managed by the City of South Lake Tahoe Community Services Department. Go here for the survey.
