A brand new winter advertising campaign was launched this week by the Nevada Tourism Commission. The $1.3 million project promotes the Lake Tahoe area as a premier skiing destination.
During the course of the campaign, the ad, which highlights music from the Las Vegas band, the Killers, will be seen this winter on cable and television stations in the Los Angeles and San Francisco areas and should be seen by nearly 95 million people.
The song "Don't Fence Me In" highlights the wide open recreation opportunities in Nevada and works well with the state tourism brand tagline "“Nevada: A World Within, A State Apart.”
