Squaw, Alpine Meadows offer value-added weekend ski and ride lessons

This weekend, beginner skiers and riders can take their first turns on the snow at Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows for just $30 including a beginner lift ticket, rental equipment and lessons during the 12th Annual Learn to Ski and Board Weekend. In addition to adult lessons at Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows, Squaw is offering $30 beginner kids ski and snowboard lift ticket, lesson, rental packages at Squaw Kids. Kids 13 and under can take either a morning or an afternoon lesson. Morning lessons registration is from 8:15 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. with pick up at 12:15 p.m., and afternoon lesson registration is prior to 1 p.m. with pick up at 3:45 p.m. Reservations for kids lessons are required, and can be made by calling Squaw Kids at (530) 452-7225.
