SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - There was one new confirmed case of COVID-19 in El Dorado County Tuesday, a male in the 18-49 age group. This brings the total of cases to 118.

There have been an additional four recovered (99), leaving 19 active cases. There are currently no patients in the hospital with confirmed COVID-19 but there are two suspected positive patients in the ICU.

There were an additional 166 tests administered in the county Tuesday.

There have been 57 cases in the Lake Tahoe area (including South Lake Tahoe, Meyers, Strawberry, and Tahoma).

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - There have been four new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in El Dorado County since Friday, two in the Lake Tahoe region and two in El Dorado Hills. Of the new cases, one is male, three are female, three are aged 18-49 and one is in the 50-64 age group.

Four more recoveries were announced by health officials, bringing the total to 95. There remain 22 active cases. There are no hospitalizations at Barton or Marshall at this time but there are four patients in the ICU with suspected cases according to Public Tableau.

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - For the second consecutive day, there were no new cases of COVID-19 in El Dorado County. The confirmed cases remain at 111 with 21 of those active after three more people recovered.

One arrested on multiple charges after head-on collision in Lake Tahoe

6/9/20 update: A 23-year-old man from Garden Valley, California has been arrested on multiple charges after being involved in a two-car Collison on US50 near Skyland at Lake Tahoe on June 8.

At approximately 6:05 p.m, troopers from the Nevada Highway Patrol (NHP) responded to a serious injury crash involving a Honda Civic and Toyota Tacoma.

The crash closed both the eastbound and westbound travel lanes of the highway for several hours as emergency crews aided the victims, transported the two drivers to the hospital via helicopter, and cleared the scene.

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - There were three new cases of COVID-19 in El Dorado County over the weekend, two in the Lake Tahoe region and the other in El Dorado Hills. All of the new cases are male, and all aged 50-64 years old.

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - El Dorado County health officials are reporting six new confirmed cases over the weekend, five from the Lake Tahoe region and the other from the Cameron Park/Shingle Springs area. All are male, three aged 18-49 and three 50-64.

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - There was one new case of COVID-19 reported in El Dorado County Wednesday, a woman in the Diamond Springs/El Dorado area. She is in the 18-49-year-old age group. There has now been a total of 81 reported cases of COVID-19 to date.

There were two new recoveries today, bringing the total number to 59. There are 22 active cases and no hospitalizations or ICU cases reported for confirmed patients. Two people are currently in the ICU in El Dorado County that are suspected of having COVID-19 as well as two hospitalized with suspected COVID-19.

Governor outlines guidelines for reopening Nevada with phase one Saturday

Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak has unveiled his plan for the state to reopen under phase one starting May 9, 2020. Outdoor malls, restaurants, hair salons, and barber shops are among those able to reopen with new standards for safety.

"We must stay safe so we can stay open," said Sisolak of the ability to move into phase 2 by the end of May, or sooner.

"The beginning of the reopening of our economy is not the end of the coronavirus," said Sisolak during a press conference Thursday afternoon. "It's still with us, as strong as ever. It will not go away until there's a vaccine."

Lake Tahoe Community College one of two new free COVID-19 testing sites in county

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - El Dorado County officials announced Sunday they will open two appointment-only community sites for COVID-19 testing for any resident wanting to be tested for the virus, one in South Lake Tahoe and the other in Shingle Springs.

These sites follow Governor Newsom's announcement last week to add more than 80 community COVID-19 testing sites across the state, focusing on underserved communities. His goal is to test 60,000 to 80,000 people per day for the virus as the state prepares to reopen.

Three new cases of COVID-19 reported in El Dorado County; One in Douglas, 48 in Washoe

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - Since yesterday, the El Dorado County Public Health Department has reported three new confirmed cases of COVID-19, bringing the county told to 47.

Health officials say just one of those cases in actually new, and the other two were listed in the Sacramento County figures. Their identification showed a P.O. Box in Sacramento, but they actually live in El Dorado Hills. Both have since recovered.

EL DORADO COUNTY, Calif. - One person in El Dorado County has tested positive for COVID-19 since Monday. The new case is a male from South County aged 50-64, bringing the total testing positive in the county to 44. He was the first South County resident to test positive.

EL DORADO COUNTY, Calif. - Two more people tested positive for COVID-19 in El Dorado County on Friday. Both of the new cases are women in the 50-64 age group. One is from El Dorado Hills and the other from the Cameron Park/Shingle Springs/Rescue area. There have also been two recoveries.

EL DORADO COUNTY, Calif. - One Lake Tahoe area resident has tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the area's total up to 14 and the El Dorado County total up to 40.

Since Wednesday, 45 new tests for the virus have been administered, bringing the total tested to 1,700.

One more person has recovered and to date, 35 people have recovered.

The new case is a male in the 18-49 age group from the Lake Tahoe region. The Lake Tahoe region of the County includes South Lake Tahoe, Meyers, Kyburz, and Tahoma.

EL DORADO COUNTY, Calif. - There were no new cases of COVID-19 in El Dorado County today, leaving the total at 39. The statistics also remained the same for recoveries (34). 1,655 people have been tested, 35 additional people and 1,616 tests have been returned as negative or results are pending.

The Lake Tahoe region of the County (Kyburz to South Lake Tahoe, Meyers to Tahoma) has 13 cases.

COVID-19 case update for Lake Tahoe and surrounding counties

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - El Dorado County is reporting one new case of COVID-19. A woman in the 50-64-year-old age group from El Dorado Hills tested positive on Tuesday, April 21.

This brings the total number of cases in El Dorado County to 39. Three more people have recovered from the virus, bringing that total to 34. Thirty more people were tested for coronavirus today. To date, 1,620 people have been tested with 1,581 negative or pending.

The Lake Tahoe region of the County (Kyburz to South Lake Tahoe, Meyers to Tahoma) has 13 cases.
