Tour de Tahoe - Bike Big Blue

Lake Tahoe — Big Blue, as it is referred to by many — is North America’s Largest Alpine Lake and the Jewel of the High Sierra ... and the Reno Tahoe Territory of the Nevada Commission on Tourism and Bike the West will host the 9th Annual Tour de Tahoe — Bike Big Blue bicycle ride on Sunday, Sept. 11. This 72-mile shoreline ride has been booked as of Sept. 2 online registration has been closed. Call 800-565-2704 and go here for more information. After Sept. 2, only late on-site and same day registration is offered. Pre-Registered and open late registration will take place Saturday, September 10, 2011 from 12 noon til 8 pm at Tahoe Sports Ltd, located in the Village Shopping Center on Hwy 50 & Heavenly Village Way in South Lake Tahoe, California (one major stop light from Stateline, NV), and on the morning of the ride, Sunday, September 11, 2011, from 5:30 am til 7:30 am at the Start – Finish at the Horizon Casino Resort, Back Parking Lot C.
