SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - Halloween is a fun time for children in our community to get out of the house, dress-up, and collect a bag full of yummy candy. Once again, the Beach Retreat and Lodge in South Lake Tahoe has partnered with The Boys & Girls Club of Lake Tahoe and Dreu Murin Productions to provide a safe place for children and families to spend Halloween on Tuesday, October 31, 2017.
They would like community members, clubs, business and agencies to be a part of the experience by being a sponsor and occuping a “room.” Each sponsor provides candy or handouts for the children to collect as they go from door to door of selected hotel rooms.
There are a limited number of rooms available and these will be reserved on a first come-first served basis. Sponsors will be included in social media posts, event flyers and advertisements, and one the event website.
Along with a safe location to trick-or-treat at, there will be music, snacks, and family-friendly activities. The best part is everything is FREE and open to the public! Food and drinks will be available for purchase.
Sponsor and staff a hotel room on October 31 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Plan on bringing at least 1500 pieces of individually wrapped candy and decorations for your patio or door.
Contact Nikki Verdile, Beach Retreat Director of Marketing & Events, with questions and to reserve your room for the event. 530-307-1779 or
nverdile@tahoebeachretreat.com. Please note, hotel rooms are to be used during the event only and not for overnight stay.
