Event Date:
September 7, 2016 - 2:00pm
The inaugural Lake Tahoe Community College's Coyote Classic Golf Tournament on September 7 will raise funds for the school's men's and women's soccer teams. Players will be using a 2:00 p.m. shot gun start at Lake Tahoe Golf Course.
Costs are $125 per player or $475 per foursome. The entry includes 18 holes of golf, staged cart, pre-tourney driving range access, entry into fun contests with prizes, two drink tickets, hot dogs on the course, plus an evening BBQ. Raffle prizes, silent auction and a chance to meet the players, coaches, and their fun-loving coyote mascot is also included.
The LTCC men's team has finished first in their division the past two years, and after a strong recruitment effort that included South Tahoe High star players, the women's team is looking forward to a strong showing this season.
Last year 15 soccer graduates received scholarships to continue playing at four-year schools, proving the teams learn both on and off the field.
