The South Shore business community is invited to attend the Tahoe Chamber’s next Level UP Webinar: Diffusing Workplace Tension – Politics, Polarization, and the Pandemic on November 18 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. This interactive webinar will be facilitated by Laura Moriarty of Tahoe Training Partners. She will provide productive solutions to difficult situations in the workplace.
Attendees will be walked through different conflict scenarios between coworkers, employees and customers, including resistance to Covid-19 safety requirements, opposing opinions to national movements, and polarized political beliefs. Managers and business owners will then learn how to diffuse these situations successfully by communicating expectations, bridging differences, and using deescalating techniques.
The registration fee is $10 for chamber members and $20 for non-members and will be held through the Zoom platform. To register for this webinar, visit www.tahoechamber.org.
Workshop facilitator, and nationally known speaker Laura Moriarty, is the president and co-founder of Tahoe Training Partners, a human resources and management training solutions consulting firm in South Lake.
