SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - El Dorado County health officials have announced seven new confirmed cases, six in the Lake Tahoe region and one in El Dorado Hills. The totals only increased by five as two previously identified cases were transferred to other counties today. They were previously counted in the Cameron Park/Shingle Sperings area.

Of the new cases, one is under the age of 18, four are aged 18-49 and two aged 50-64. Six are female, one male.

An additional 84 tests were administered.

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - El Dorado County health officials today announced 22 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the county, ten of those in the Lake Tahoe region, six in Cameron Park/Shingle Springs/Rescue, and three each in Placerville and El Dorado Hills. Of the new cases, 11 are male, 11 are female, five are under the age of 18, 11 are aged 18-49, and six are aged 50-64.

There were an additional 277 tests for the coronavirus administered.

Twenty-one of those are in El Dorado Hills, twelve in the Lake Tahoe area, seven in Placerville, four in Cameron Park/Shingle Springs/Rescue, three in Pollock Pines/Camino/Kyburz, and two in Diamond Springs/El Dorado.

Of the new cases, six are under the age of 18, 30 are aged 18-49, eight aged 50-64 and five aged 65 and older, 23 are male and 26 are female.

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - EL Dorado County health officials report 13 new cases of COVID-19 with 10 in the Lake Tahoe Region, and one in each El Dorado Hills, North County and Cameron Park/Shingle Springs/Rescue. There have been an estimated ten new recoveries, leaving 174 active cases.

Testing sites were able to conduct 187 new tests.

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - El Dorado County health officials announced Wednesday there have been 13 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 since yesterday, nine in the Lake Tahoe Region, three in El Dorado Hills and one in the Cameron Park, Shingle Springs, Rescue area.

Of the new cases, one is under 18, nine are ages 18-49 and three are aged 50-64.

There were 42 new tests administered in the county, bringing that total to 14,833.

Two people remain hospitalized in the ICU. There are no suspected cases in Barton or Marshall hospitals.

Of the new cases, 15 are in the Lake Tahoe region, 5 in Placerville, three in each El Dorado Hills, Diamond Springs/El Dorado, and Cameron Park/Shingle Springs/Rescue, and 1 in North County.

Of those new cases, one is under the age of 18, twenty are ages 18-49, five are aged 50-64 and four 65 and older. They are even split at 15 males and 15 females.

There have been three new cases admitted to the ICU and there are currently no suspected cases hospitalized.

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - El Dorado County health officials released new figures, showing 15 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the county since yesterday. There were three new recoveries leaving 95 active cases. Two people were released from local hospitals, leaving three hospitalized and one in the ICU. There are also two suspected COVID-19 cases in the ICU.

EL DORADO COUNTY, Calif. - There will be some very big shoes to fill when finding a replacement for retiring El Dorado County Undersheriff Randy Peshon. On Tuesday, June 30, Peshon will be putting his badge on for the very last time. For 43 years he's been in some level of law enforcement, the last 33 years in El Dorado County.

During his career in El Dorado County, Peshon has been at the forefront of change from implementing a change in culture at the jail in South Lake Tahoe to getting the new Public Safety Facility built under budget and ahead of schedule.

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - El Dorado County health officials have announced there were five new confirmed cases of COVID-19 since Wednesday, one in the Lake Tahoe region, two in El Dorado Hills and two in Cameron Park/Shingle Springs. Of the new cases, three are female, two are male, all in the 18-49-year-old range.

There have been seven new recoveries, leaving the active case number at 41.

There have been no additional hospitalizations and one person remains in the ICU. In California, 4,240 people are currently hospitalized with 1,306 of those in ICUs.

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - El Dorado County health officials have announced another five confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the county - two in Cameron Park/Shingle Springs and three in the Lake Tahoe Region. Three more people have recovered and there have been no deaths in El Dorado County. There are currently 41 active cases.

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - El Dorado County public health officials are reporting another four confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the county, all from the Lake Tahoe region.

All of the new cases are in the age group of 18-49 and are three males and one female. This brings the current number of confirmed cases to 125. With one new recovery, the active number of cases is 25.

There are no current hospitalizations but two suspected cases of COVID-19 are in the hospital.

229 more people have been tested, bringing that total to 8,669.

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - There was one new confirmed case of COVID-19 in El Dorado County Tuesday, a male in the 18-49 age group. This brings the total of cases to 118.

There have been an additional four recovered (99), leaving 19 active cases. There are currently no patients in the hospital with confirmed COVID-19 but there are two suspected positive patients in the ICU.

There were an additional 166 tests administered in the county Tuesday.

There have been 57 cases in the Lake Tahoe area (including South Lake Tahoe, Meyers, Strawberry, and Tahoma).

There were no new cases of COVID-19 in El Dorado County Wednesday and the total number of cases for the county since the pandemic started is 111. There were no new recoveries but the hospitalized patient was released.

To date, there have been 87 recoveries, leaving 24 active cases at this time.

An additional 199 people were able to be tested since Tuesday, bringing the total of tests to 7,368.
