Live at Lakeview to continue through 2014; City of South Lake Tahoe awards contract

The Live at Lakeview Summer Music Series will return to Lakeview Commons in South Lake Tahoe every Thursday this summer, June 20 through August 29 (excluding July 4).

The City of South Lake Tahoe has recognized the Live at Lakeview Summer Music Series as a Signature Summer Event and awarded a contract to On Course Events for the production of this event series at Lakeview Commons for the next two summers through 2014.

In support of this community event series, the City has offered a sponsorship and will waive the newly adopted venue rental fees to help this music series remain viable. Owner of On Course Events, Rob Giustina states, “On Course is excited to work with the City again to produce this great summer community gathering. We are currently seeking sponsorships, but we’re optimistic that we will be able to raise the funds to produce another successful season.”

Live at Lakeview Summer Music Series
During its inaugural season in 2012, this concert series became the pinnacle of summer on the South Shore, drawing in 500-1000 people every Thursday evening. This event series will be held from 4:30-9:00 pm every Thursday, and will feature a beer garden, free bike valet, local vendors, and the event will remain free for the public to attend. Entertainment will range from local to nationally recognized musicians featuring a different genre of music each week including Jazz, Rock & Roll, Reggae, Latin, Bluegrass, and more.

This Blue Ribbon Award winning event production company is based in South Lake Tahoe, Calif. Owners Rob and CarolAnne Giustina have over 15 years of experience in local, regional, and international event production. On Course Events specializes in event design, operations, marketing, sound and stage design, music production, competition coordination, logistics and staffing.
