Golfers to play dawn to dusk at Tahoe Paradise course for charity

The 10th Annual Longest Day of Golf will be held at Tahoe Paradise Golf Course on June 18, 2015. The South Lake Tahoe Moose Lodge #1632 has partnered with Sierra at Tahoe, and Harrah’s and Harvey's Casino Resorts t sponsor the event.

Last year the golfers played 130 holes of golf and raised over $12,000 for the South Lake Tahoe Cancer league.

Golfers start at sun-up and play as many holes as they can before sun-down. The golfers take pledges on a per hole basis or a flat dollar donation amount. This year’s goals are to play 130+ holes and raise over $12,000.00.

The money pledged and collected goes to providing Financial Assistance Grants to cancer patients in South Lake Tahoe and free transportation to cancer therapy centers in Truckee, Reno, Carson Valley, UCD/Sacramento and South Lake Tahoe.
