Live at Lakeview concert series returns on June 23

Live at Lakeview Summer Music Series returns Thursday, June 23 for its fifth season at Lakeview Commons in South Lake Tahoe. Promising a diverse selection of entertainment, organizers start off the ten-week series with Live at Lakeview veteran performer and world-renowned percussionist, Paa Kow from Ghana, West Africa.

“We’re so excited to share the lineup for the upcoming season of Live at Lakeview," said Leslie Schultz of On Course Events. "It’s been incredible to see the caliber and variety of entertainment we’re bringing in continue to grow over the past five years! It’s going to be an incredible summer, filled with great live music for the entire family!”

The free concert series will run on Thursdays until August 25 in the amphitheater style seating along the beach, a perfect spot to watch the water and sunsets. Besides music there are a variety of local merchants and food options along with a beer garden.

Proceeds from the beer garden will continue to support South Tahoe BMX Association. Parking is limited around the venue; however, a complimentary bike valet service is offered every week. Biking and carpooling is strongly encouraged. Additional parking is available at the South Lake Tahoe Recreation Center (1601 Rufus Allen Blvd.)
